My mom and son use this and find it very comfortable for sleeping on. I bought the lambskin to insulate my pad when hammock camping mainly to keep my core warm.
It did not disappoint, the night temps were -4 this past week-end at Silent Lake Provincial Park, I was toasty warm. Will test it again in 2 weeks hopefully in much colder temps.

The product was as advertised. It is shorn short, which is safest for a baby, so don’t expect a thick fluffy sheep skin. Our daughter is sleeping better. I’m worried about head shape and I feel like it reduces the pressure on her head.

We have enjoyed the comfort of wool mattress covers for many years, and so I thought the merino lambskin would add extra comfort between my 16 month-old granddaugher’s crib sheet and crib mattress. Together with her sleep bag, her sleep has improved. I believe it’s because the merino wool naturally regulates her body temperature.

After reading about the Oeko-Tex certification and over-all high quality & non-toxic claims on the Woolino website, I ordered a sheepskin for our third baby on the way. My whole family was very disappointed. There was no indication of any kind of ecological certification on the sheepskin itself, only a stitched tag with the brand logo and 'made in Thailand'. The claims of certification are on the plastic package only. More importantly, this sheepskin does not compare to the beautiful, naturally tanned sheepskins made in New Zealand that my older children have. The Woolino's hide is bleached an unnatural white, whereas our others are a golden color. The fur side appears to be synthetically dyed as well. We ordered 'flax' which I had presumed to be unbleached wool, but it does not have the lovely, subtle color variation of our undyed sheepskins. The Woolino sheepskin also felt thinner than we expected, lacking that dense squishiness we're accustomed to. Worst of all, it had a chemical smell that made us cringe when we put our faces near it. That is in contrast to the irresistibly woolly aroma of our New Zealand sheepskins. I would recommend that Woolino check closely into the integrity of their product, from ranch to tannery to customer, to improve the quality and safety of sheepskins being marketed to families of young children.

Beautiful lambskin for my new grandson. I had one for his mama, who used it for years. (5 stars on the product, but the vinyl package was very strong smelling, so had to wash the lambskin and hang on line a few days to air out.)

I bought this for my grandchild that will be born in a few weeks. I used lambskins with all three of my sons from birth. They became a very soothing tool for them as they grew into toddlers and even into the preschool years. When my eldest son and his wife got pregnant, I asked them if they wanted to use a "woobie". He said yes, but his wife was not familiar with them. I gave it to them today and my daughter in law was amazed at the feel of it. I look forward to watching this child grow up with with a "woobie"
